How to solve the problem that the machining center cannot change the tool?

Machine configuration: VMC1160, SYNTEC22 MA control system, Okada spindle BT40-150-10000 rpm, belt drive.

Tool cylinder brand: TENIO.

Customer complaint: The tool handle cannot be released manually, and the tool handle can be removed by tapping the tool handle with external force. In automatic mode, tool change cannot work.

After-sales solution: The after-sales staff analyzed the video and found that the knife cylinder could not hit the tool handle. It is suspected that there is insufficient oil in the tank of the cutting cylinder or the stroke of the cutting cylinder is insufficient. After self-inspection by the customer, it was found that the fuel tank in the cutting cylinder was normal. By adjusting the stroke of the cutting cylinder, the machine operates normally.

How to adjust the stroke of the cutting cylinder: 

1. Loosen the fixing screws on both sides;

2. Rotate the adjusting bolt to increase the length;

3. Fix the fixing bolts on both sides;

4. Check whether the tool change is normal. If the stroke is not enough, repeat the process.
